This place does not get enough credit for its food - fresh, delicious, well priced and you can tell it is made with love! I had a flatbread and never thought I’d finish it but it was so tasty I was almost licking the box (they let me takeout too!). I’ve been here a few times and every time they deliver on scrumptious-ness and the staff are absolutely lovely and very good at their jobs too. 100% worth visiting!
Was hoping to give a bad review so we got a funny comment from the owner , but unfortunately we couldn’t As we entered we were greeted by Ellie who kindly told us we were upgraded to the best table with the best view upstairs which was lovely as it was a birthday meal, we were served by Claire who was equally lovely The food was really very good and pudding even better !! Thanks for a wonderful evening
Perfect lunch. We hadn't planned to visit this beach or the pub but we're so glad we did! The beach is beautiful and so family friendly and everything about The Ship is beautiful. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, their baby changing table had broken but they provided a padded mat to change our little one on. The food..... I don't normally go for a salad bowl, but wow, I am so glad I did! I was stuck between the steak or the falafel option, thoughts of being healthy won out, and I'm glad they did! It was delicious, perfectly char grilled courgette, edamame beans, picked beetroot, fresh baby leaves and yummy falafel that was delicious and not dry at all like some can be. My husband had the fish special of the day and he wolfed it down! We both loved it, the staff were really friendly and made our little one laugh. Breastfeeding friendly - I shouldn't have to note it, but some places aren't so I do. Easy access if you have a pushchair or a wheelchair, good sided disabled/baby change toilet which is wonderful to see. Highly recommend coming here! Thank you to the team!
Great staff, I do mean great staff . Fantastic humour too. The food was absolutely perfect. The garlic king prawn starters was perfectly cooked, crispy anf full of garlic. Don't kiss your partner after lol. Chicken roast Sunday lunch was very nice too. Not too dry and lots of veg. Overall, well recommended.

Food was excellent and plentiful and service friendly and welcoming. We sat inside downstairs with our dog for a lovely, relaxed lunch next to the beach. Thanks again
